John was named Executive Vice President at AVI Systems in Feb. 2025. In this role he oversees the operations and profitability of AVI’s regional branch locations in the United States. John first joined the company as Regional Vice President for the Northeast Region in March 2022, managing operations of branch office locations in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Washington DC. In May 2023, John assumed the role of Managing Director of AVI’s Magenium business, which delivers Microsoft solutions to AVI customers throughout the country. Previously, he held leadership and sales roles in the telecommunications industry as well as the AV systems integration industry. He attended St. Ambrose University (Davenport, Iowa). 

Josh joined AVI Systems as Director of Information Technology in 2016 and became Vice President in 2019. He is an accomplished collaborative leader with more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Josh uses his expertise to help AVI Systems increase profits, and productivity, and gain a competitive edge while simultaneously delivering significant reductions in the cost of doing business. Previously, Josh served as Senior Director of IT Services for Digital River. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University. 

David joined AVI Systems in 2018 as Area Vice President of the company’s San Diego office location. He was promoted to Regional Vice President in 2022. In his current role, David oversees AVI’s West Region operation, which includes California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, and Washington. He is an experienced executive in the audiovisual, information technology, and services industries and uses his skills in collaboration, financial analysis, problem-solving, and consultative selling to grow AVI’s business. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University and has an Associate of Science degree in Electronics from DeVry University.

Craig’s background in marketing, sales, and product management helps him shape AVI Systems into the most distinctive brand in the audiovisual systems integration industry. With expertise in traditional and digital marketing, content creation, social media, and event planning, he positions AVI as the global leader of audiovisual, unified communications, digital media, and managed services.  Previously, Craig held marketing leadership roles at Oracle, Ceridian, LifeTouch, and Ecolab. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Trinity University (Texas) and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minn.).  

Travis joined AVI Systems in 2014 as a Project Manager. He quickly became a Technical Services Manager and was promoted to Area Operations Manager for the Minneapolis office location in 2021. In May 2022, Travis was named Regional Vice President for the North Region. In his current role, he manages the growing geographic footprint of AVI Systems in Minnesota and North Dakota, overseeing the sales and operations functions. Prior to AVI Systems, Travis held management roles at ISpace Furniture and MSpace. He attended Metro State University (St, Paul, Minn.).

The functional leader and voice of sales within AVI, Donald Mastro sets priorities for key development areas, leading the regional sales teams in advancing our sales agenda. He builds capability for sales analytics, establishes market and team performance standards, and oversees proposal responses and client presentations to drive efficiency and professionalism within our sales force. He also grows sales bookings overall, guides the onboarding of new sales talent, and develops a range of sales management functions.

Tom joined AVI Systems in 2004 and currently serves as Regional Vice President for the Midwest – including Illinois and Indiana. He shares his three decades of audiovisual and collaboration experience, as well as his leadership skills, with a growing team of high-achieving professionals based in AVI offices in Chicago and Indianapolis. Prior to joining AVI, Tom held sales management roles with Video Images, Inc., and MCSi. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Finance and Speech from Minnesota State University (Mankato, Minn.) and volunteers his time with several nonprofits in Glen Ellyn, Ill.  

Jason joined AVI Systems as Managing Director of the wholly owned subsidiary, Magenium Solutions, in 2024. In this role, Jason leads the Magenium team as well as sets the strategic direction for growth and success for the business, which is focused on delivering Microsoft solutions including Microsoft Teams room services, unified communication voice services, and more. Jason has more than 20 years of experience in workplace technology including audiovisual and unified collaboration solutions. He is a customer advocate as well as a platform device specialist for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other UC solutions.

Christopher Mounts, CPA, started as AVI’s first Controller for four years before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer in April 2019. He now has executive responsibility for accounting and finance operations, financial reporting, strategic planning and analysis, and regulatory compliance. Chris ensures the company is growing profitably while maintaining the ability to invest in future growth.

Prior to joining AVI Systems, Chris was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Accounting from 2014 to 2015 at Houston-based Cardtronics, Inc. Before his time with Cardtronics, Inc., Chris was the Vice President of Finance at Layne Christensen Company after spending more than five years as the Assistant Controller. Chris started his professional career with KPMG in Kansas City. Throughout his nearly 20-year career, Chris has established a reputation as an operations partner and an expert in financial systems.

Outside of work, Chris supports many philanthropies and nonprofit organizations, including Children’s Mercy Hospital Cancer and Autism Research, Kansas City Young Audiences, and the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art.

Shannon became Senior Vice President at AVI in Feb. 2025 after serving as a Regional Vice President for AVI’s Great Lakes Region. In her role as SVP, she mentors and advises AVI Regional and Area Vice Presidents in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. She shares her 20-plus years of industry experience to help grow AVI’s presence and deliver effective technology solutions. Shannon is passionate about providing every AVI customer with the best possible experience. Prior to joining AVI in 2004, she owned a small business in Madison, Wisc., and served as Channel Marketing Manager at Sonic Foundry. Shannon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. 

Roger joined AVI in April 2021 as Executive Vice President where he focuses his efforts to further develop the company’s operations in North America. He shares his 25-plus years of industry experience with AVI’s senior leadership team and also provides oversight of the company’s 20-plus branch office locations. In addition, Roger plays an instrumental role in identifying growth opportunities for AVI. Previously, Roger directed the growth of a major systems integrator where he served as a Chief Operating Officer. He grew that business from a $40 million regional provider with 100 employees to a $350 million global provider with more than 900 employees. He also expanded the company’s service area in the United States to include all of Texas, as well as the Midwest, Rocky Mountains, California, and northwest regions of the United States. Roger has held management roles as chief financial officer, director of managed services and in operations.

Michael was named Senior Vice President of Operations in Feb. 2025. In this role, he where he leads AVI’s Integration, Delivery, and Managed Services teams to ensure alignment across all service lines and adoption of standards and best practices. Previously, he served as Vice President of Managed Services, responsible for AVI’s suite of service offerings and a service delivery portfolio including service design for more than $1 million in programs. Michael also serves as a functional leader for GPA United States Global service operations. He first joined AVI in 2004 as a Technical Services Manager and also served as Area Vice President of AVI’s branch office in Sioux Falls, S.D. Prior to AVI, Michael was in the corporate real estate department at Target Corporation. He is experienced in leading large teams and has project management and operations experience. Michael received his MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management, and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota.  

Jason was named Vice President of Workplace Strategy in 2025. In this role, he assists organizations as they navigate digital transformation, ensuring they have the strategies and solutions needed to create dynamic, productive, and future-ready workplaces. Previously, he served as Senior Director of the Enterprise AV and Visualization Practice, leading a team of technology experts and working with technology solution providers in the development of audiovisual solutions designed for the modern workplace. With a focus on enabling seamless communication and collaboration, Jason specializes in optimizing technology ecosystems to help AVI customers achieve their communication and collaboration goals. He has played an instrumental role in developing new solutions to benefit organizations across all industries. His visionary leadership and commitment to innovation drive transformative advancements in communication technologies, establishing him as a trusted advisor adept at navigating the complexities of modern business landscapes.

Roland has spent his entire career at AVI Systems, joining the company as a Buyer in 1981 and assuming additional responsibilities in sales and management during his 40-plus-year career with the company. He became Senior Vice President overseeing AVI locations and mentoring Regional and Area Vice Presidents across 10 states. Previously, Roland was Regional Vice President of the Central Region where he managed sales and operations in the Midwest serving organizations across every industry and every size with unparalleled audiovisual and unified collaboration solutions. Roland earned his Associate's Degree in Business from Bismarck College (Bismarck, N. Dak.).

Brandon is a seasoned and team-motivated executive with more than 25 years of experience leading business development strategies to increase business growth and staff performance. He joined AVI Systems in March 2024 and leads the Western Region team including locations in Arizona, California and Nevada. Brandon is an effective communicator and strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and manage cross-functional teams to achieve performance goals and objectives. His vast experience in team building and individual mentorship will help AVI Systems develop sustainable results for each customer we serve.

Jeff Stoebner joined AVI Systems in 1993. He learned the ropes by working first in technical services, then becoming a sales representative. He also spent time as a Regional Vice President, as well as AVI’s Vice President of Marketing and Chief Operating Officer. Today Jeff serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO. He is responsible for the overall planning and direction of AVI Systems.

“I am focused on building a truly great company that will continue to be truly great when I leave.” These are the words of AVI Systems founder Joe Stoebner, who started our company in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1974 as an audiovisual equipment supplier. In 1979 Joe bought out the other four shareholders and became 100% owner. The steady growth of the company was spurred forward with strategic acquisitions and expansions. Since 1986, ten acquisitions and three expansions have occurred.

Joy joined AVI Systems in August 2023 as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, she uses her HR expertise to partner with senior leaders and managers in the development of HR initiatives that positively impact the company’s culture across its 30 regional offices and more than 1,000 employee-owners.  
 
Joy contributes to AVI’s success as a true business partner in obtaining and retaining the best talent, applying HR best practices to maximize employee engagement, and making AVI a great place to work. Most importantly, Joy collaborates with AVI’s leadership team to define long-term missions and goals and identify how to support the AVI mission through strategic talent management. 
 
Prior to AVI, Joy held management roles in human resources at Banner Engineering, a leading automation source of sensors, wireless solutions, machine safety, and lighting for manufacturers worldwide. She also performed staffing and recruitment duties at the Minnesota Department of Administration.  

A native of the Twin Cities, Joy graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She obtained her MBA in Human Resources from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. She is a SHRM-SCP and SPHR-certified professional.  
 

Robby joined AVI Systems as Area Vice President – South Texas, in 2021 and was named Regional Vice President for the South Region in 2022. Under his leadership, AVI’s growth in Texas has led the company, to generate record-setting revenue in both the Dallas and Austin branch office locations. With marquis clients including Main Event/Dave & Buster’s, Dell, and Samsung Semiconductors, AVI’s Texas team continues to grow and serve clients throughout the Southern U.S. Prior to AVI, Robby served as Executive Vice President at Data Projections, Inc., and held a sales management role at Catapult Systems. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas) where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies.

In his role as Vice President of Integration & Delivery at AVI Systems, Zach leads the company's unified approach to integration services across engineering, installation, and project delivery. Since joining AVI in 2021, Zach has built and scaled teams, processes, and programs that drive consistent value for customers, employees, and stakeholders. His work has included launching the Program Management Department and the Velocity Logistics Center, initiatives that improve operational efficiency and standardize scalable, repeatable solutions.

Zach began his AV career in 2010 as a live-event technician, giving him hands-on technical expertise that underpins his leadership approach. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Full Sail University and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas. Zach is PMP and Six Sigma certified and remains an active volunteer with the Project Management Institute.

Recognized as one of Commercial Integrator's 2024 40 Influencers Under 40, Zach is committed to fostering collaboration, quality, and innovation in the AV industry.

Keith has served AVI Systems twice, first as a Design Engineer and Technical Services Manager. In Feb. 2025, he was named Senior Vice President of Innovation where he oversees AVI’s Practice Team, emerging technologies, and AVI’s own Innovation Vault, showcased at InfoComm and the company’s national LIVE tech expos. He also leads the technologies demonstrated at AVI’s customer experience centers in the United States. Previously, Keith served as Vice President of Innovation, leveraging his extensive product knowledge and manufacturer relationships to lead AVI’s Practices, support complex client engagements, enhance the company’s reference design offerings, and develop AVI’s roadmap of future innovations. Keith serves as Vice President of Innovation, United States, for GPA and holds BICSI and AVIXA industry certifications.
