As organizations refine hybrid work strategies, technology leaders must balance employee satisfaction and productivity with business objectives. The challenge is that hybrid work models, regardless of how many in-office or remote days, introduce operational complexity while delivering the work-life balance employees value.

According to the 2024 Work Trends Index, almost half of employees want flexible schedules. As such, successfully navigating the hybrid model remains crucial.

AI-driven technologies can be essential assets for addressing this dynamic. In fact, the new term "nudgetech” captures how AI can nudge us to do something we might otherwise not have.

For example, AI could recommend which days to work in the office based on coworker behavior (so you don't drive in only to find an empty building). AI could also nudge us toward the best communication medium based on behaviors of the message receiver (i.e., they prefer chat to email).
